MANILA, Philippines – Jalen Green had another 20-point outing, but that wasn’t enough to shake up the G League Ignite struggles on Tuesday (Manila time) at AdventHealth Arena in Orlando.

Green led his team by scoring again with 21 points – an impressive effort that failed – as Ignite was crushed by the Long Island Nets, 109-97.

After an opening quarterfinal back and forth, Ignite played catch the rest of the way, trailing up to 17 points in the last frame.

The 6-foot-6 Green, who averages a team-high 17.6 points and 1.6 steals per game, showed deadly perimeter play, making five of six attempts from downtown.

His fourth treble of the game shot Ignite in single digits, 89-82, with 6:24 remaining.

But the Nets (3-5) responded with a 13-5 run to seal the game.

Jeremiah Martin scored 24 points for a game-high, while Reggie Perry added 21 for Long Island.
