MANILA, Philippines – Sta. Lucia claimed her first victory in the Premier Volleyball League open conference, sweeping away PLDT Home Fibr, 25-18, 25-19, 25-21, Monday in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte.

The Lady Realtors rebounded after losing to Creamline on opening day.

“We had a good game. The whole team played well. I’m happy with their performance, ”said Sta. Lucia Eddieson Orcullo’s coach in Filipino.

MJ Phillips led the Sta. Lucia with 14 points including five blocks, Dell Palomata added 12 points while Mika Reyes had 11 markers.

The Power Hitters continued to struggle, losing their second straight game after a Day 1 loss to Chery Tiggo.

Isa Molde was the only double-digit goalscorer for PLDT Home Fibr with 11, all eliminations.
